Really cool bars

What is a party without a good drink? After the exiting first minutes of meeting friends it becomes a funeral of emotions. This past weekend we had some friends over and while setting up the house I remembered these images that have been in my files for quit a while now and thought it would be a good idea to share them with you. Living with hats

Ahh… I remember the days when old gentlemen used to wear hats and sit in the local park smoking cigars. Well as you can see I’m from the tropics. Hats, this is how they use them now.

My sister and I used to share our room growing up. It wasn’t as fancy as one of these impeccable designed rooms but I used to love it, she not so much.

Crosby Street Hotel in New York City

Crosby Street Hotel in NYC is everything but conventional. As owners, Tim and Kit Kemp the proprietors of Firmdale Hotels, believe that “hotels should be living things, not stuffy institutions.” I totally agree with them. Kit Kemp designed all of the interiors in a cozy English style with an impressive art collection that says “welcome home”. No wonder she was awarded the Andrew Martin International Interior Designer of the Year for 2008. Crosby Street Hotel in situated on a quiet cobbled street in the heart of New York’s vibrant SoHo neighborhood with 86 bedrooms and suites.
