Nothing makes more a Home than a home that reflects the life well lived of its owner. I don’t mean displaying only pricey possessions but instead making their homes as personal and reflective of their life-journey as possible. Each of these rooms below share that same “collected atmosphere” that says their owners are well traveled and experienced a lot.

Many of you may already know Jill Rosenwald’s deliciously looking ceramics. I’m loving her chevron pattern bowls and while searching for more chevron pattern accessories I came across Emilia Ceramics’ beautiful lamps. Because everyone can use a little bit of Chevron here and there.

The allure and elegance in these photographs make me want to have been born in the 40’s. They were taken by Bob Wolfenson at the Hotel Toriba in Brazil for Vogue Brazil and all I know is that the many of the clothes are Gucci and Max Mara. It looks like an excellent match!

I can’t help but get inspired and perhaps a little jealous every time I see gracious entrances like these two pictures here. My entrance consists of merely a staircase and a 4ft by 6ft of landing space that I have assigned as my tiny cute foyer. I better be creative.

Even the masters don’t stop remodeling and making changes in their homes and offices. This is obviously the case with anyone who loves and/or is involved in Design. When I saw the office of Bunny Williams featured in the current issue of Lonny Magazine I couldn’t help notice how her office has gone through a major transformation from the last time I saw it in her website. This time her office has a more Scandinavian vibe than the more Roman/classic influence of the previous design. New white bookcases make the room lighter, brighter and younger and that yaw dropping Swedish bed corona above that table give another life to the ceiling.
