Month: October 2012

Some people credit the first “it pant” on my list, the track pants to Michael Jackson’s iconic black and white pants, others to Celine Fashion House.  Regardless of who you want to thank for them and I think we should all do, the ability of side track pants to make anyone look slender and well-built is indisputable.

You can dress it up with a lace top and keep it real riding a bike. 🙂 The second on my list is the Leopard print pants.  It’s the kind of print that when wearing it I prefer to keep it in the dark color side, like the first one below.  I think that by keeping it in the browns and blacks and staying away from the yellowish ones it’s still easy in the eyes and elegant at
once.

Love the way both of these ladies wear them.

Margherita Missoni below, kept it fun and young.  The cropped kind on her.

And finally and perfect for the starting Fall season it’s the leather leggings or leather panel pants which are stylish and modern.  I bought mine a year ago at Club Monaco and I’ve been wearing them ever since.  I feel like every year I have to write about leather pants because they are classic and modern at the same time.<

What’s sexier than leather and fake fur?

Good morning beautiful people.  I feel like it’s been ages since my last post.  I’ve been busy getting to know my surroundings a bit and enjoying myself and family.  I’ve been also working on that thing I’m planning that I told you about.  Who doesn’t need some shimmering in their lives and what better place than on your table?  I’m loving the selection of Gold-Dipped accessories and tableware available now.  There is so much available now from plates to flatware and even jewelry.  I put together a list of my favorites for those of you who might be interested.  The top first pictures is from a Brazilian artist, Nicole Toldi who makes wonderful porcelain and ceramics and recently came out with these glamorous set of gold-dipped tableware set.  I’m immediately in love with it for many reasons but, mostly for its organic form.  Notice the handle of the cup.  Very beautiful!  Enjoy

Gold bottom dish at up in the air somewhere.  No really, that’s the name of the website!

And then food marks on your plate and your cup has never looked this nice.  Add some dripping glam for your morning coffee with this set of drip tease teacup and gold saucer at Reiko Kaneko.

Gold-Dipped flatware at Wanelo.

A really cool DIY for making your own gold-dipped plates, for those who are very handy here.

Love the modernity in this ring available at Etsy.

Kenzo Lion Print Jumper via belle vivir interior design blog

Many people would probably think that this St. Peter’s green-color Kenzo Lion Print Jumper is too much.  I like to think that sometimes too much is the right thing to do.  How is it that Valentino said  “elegance is not to stand out but to be remembered.”  I saw one of my favorite fashion bloggers, Chiara Ferragni from The Blond Salad wearing it and I loved it how it looked on her, then I found all these stylish ladies wearing the same jumper, some of them wearing it in a different color, and liked it even more.  This embroidery sweater was made last year but, Opening Ceremony has remade it this year.  Here in Brazil the days are getting warmer so it’s a good thing that Kenzo, which is a new black, as someone said in Instagram, also makes tees with fun graphics.  Enjoy!
