Kitchen of the week designed by Andrew Raquet

Isn’t this kitchen the ultimate American style kitchen? It was designed by Andrew Raquet and I can’t get enough of its use of marble, brass pendants over the island and the gorgeous arrangement of hydrangeas. How fresh and simple the use of fruits to decorate around the kitchen. Below is how to get the look without any remodeling involved.

brass pendant, marble mortal & pestle, wire basket and salt and pepper mills, book & dishtowel, cupcake atageres, Bernadotte thermos, Ginger pear tea biscuits,

Its very lovely. And so very different to Australian kitchens! American kitchens are much softer. Really interesting how we have evolved into such different styles.

Love the marble, always a sucker for that, and of course a bit of brass is always a good thing too in my humble opinion!
