Julie Paulino is an Interior Designer, Interior Architecture and Design blogger currently based in Columbus, Ohio.
Julie started her Interior Design and Lifestyle Blog, Belle Vivir in 2006 New York City being the first* Interior Design blog in Manhattan. The Belle Vivir blog aims to be the ultimate stop for design aficionados looking for inspiration, ideas and advice about Interior Design, home decor, travel, fashion and accessories. This fresh approach to lifestyle blogging quickly became a popular and award-winning Interior Design blog. Belle Vivir Interior Design and Lifestyle blog is based on the belief that living beautiful goes beyond the visual. It’s a lifestyle where all the senses are at play. Consciously or not, we are uniformly influenced by our surroundings, from our choices in food, fashion and home decor, where we inadvertently absorb feelings and emotions that play a role in our state of mind. Based on the belief that Interior Design should be genuine to its surroundings, Julie creates interiors that are a personal reflection of her client’s lifestyle, sophisticated yet relaxed enough where families and friends can enjoy at ease. Juxtaposing modern elements and classic influences whilst enhancing interior architecture, Julie’s interiors result in Chic Comfortable Spaces. Julie’s initiation into Interior Design started as a Vintage furniture dealer, with an outpost in Stamford, CT. Born in The Dominican Republic, raised in New York City, Julie’s exposure to such multicultural and diverse upbringing, numerous and constant travel around the world granted her profound understanding of global and refined aesthetics. Interested in Architecture and Interiors, Julie went to extend her studies at Parsons School of Design to further her design vision and translate them into exclusive and comfortable interiors. Julie had a five-year pause in her career as an Interior Designer and as a blogger to focus on her family. During those five years, Julie and her family moved abroad, living 3 years in Sao Paulo, Brazil where she was able to travel and explore exotic corners of South America. After that, she spent two years in Munich, Germany where enjoying weekends in France and Italy and the rest of Western Europe became the norm. During those five years, Julie did not stop creating and innovating, launching a worldwide-acclaimed Jewelry line, Tyche Jewelry, which was received with major acclaim and featured in many International publications. Now Julie is relocated to Dublin, Ohio where her Interior Design firm Julie Paulino Design is based at.
