Whether you call it stylish, casual or chic, the best definition for Chambray style is Classic. It’s one fashion style that never goes out of style, and it goes well with almost every piece of clothing you prefer to pair it with. I love it how Alexa Chung wears her chambray shirt with a sequined mini skirt in the lower picture.  Another way of wearing a Chambray shirt these days is with more denim, Denim on denim is one of the latest trends in jeans right now.

Kopenhagen Fur office designed by Helle Flou
The Kopenhagen Fur office designed by Helle Flou is an example of how well the clean lines of modern furniture work inside old Interior Architecture.  The Kopenhagen Fur building dates back to 1835 hence so many neoclassical features.  Gilded french doors, delicate wall moldings and beautifully ornate crown molding are some of the old design details Helle preserved.   The choice of black and dark mahogany wood furniture contrasts ideally with the rest of the bright space.

If there is a design style that truly reveals its owner’s sense of fashion then it is the Boho style.  Be it in Interiors or Fashion.  The reason that Bohemian style is so genuine is because it portrays a sensitivity of freedom in an unpretentious way, but only showing a well-lived life.  Of course the aesthetic result goes both ways.  The worst being a disaster if the person living
the Boho lifestyle hasn’t lived a very stylish life.  But when the outcome is a positive one the result is that sublime balance between chic and comfort that once you step a foot in, you won’t want to leave.  Enjoy!

Don’t sleep on the thought that wearing socks and sandals is only for the preschooler crowd or you may wake up with identity crisis when you hit the streets and see grown up and very stylish women wearing socks with her high heeled sandals.  It’s been a while that this has beeen happening now and there are actually even official terms for the trend, depending on the kind of shoes you are wearing, for pointed stilettos they call it “Socks and Spikes” for the open sandals version is well, just “Socks and Sandals”.  I like it for many reasons, one because it gives you the chance to wear your sandals even if the weather is not so cooperative and second because sometimes I’m just too lazy to go for a pedicure.  Enjoy!

Only you hotel in madrid designed by Lazaro rosa violan via belle vivir blog
Lazaro Rosa-Violan is probably one of the Interior Designers most posted about in blogs.  His design style is so globally chic that appeals to almost everyone who lays their eyes on one of his Interior projects.  One thing I love about his interiors is how Lazaro is able to mix different styles effortlessly.  One of Rosa-Violan’s constant design elements I’ve seen in his projects is the use of grand scale architectural focal points combined with vintage-looking pieces and ethnic-influenced pieces and accessories.  A bit of rusticality, in forms of chunky unpainted wood, is frequently found in his work as well.  I think it is a very smart way to tone down the allure side in his fantastic projects. For those who didn’t know Lazaro has sells through 1stdibs.  Whether Lazaro is designing residences or commercial spaces he seems to always think big, injecting a magnificent atmosphere to his design spaces.  The Only You Hotel in Madrid is no different.  Here Lozaro designed a wall in the entryway covered in Azulejos tiles that tidies up the rest of the navy blue and white palette found throughout the rest of the Hotel.  Floor to ceiling mirrored walls and eye-catching lighting fixtures are some of the
marvelous details found in the Only You Hotel in Madrid.
