Glamour may not be the word many families are looking for when it comes to decorating their home. However when you are a Real Housewives of New York star who is not afraid to shine, a glamorous duplex sounds like the perfect antidote for a home. Carole Radziwill’s Glamorous New York City Duplex is located in downtown SoHo where she relocated after her husband Anthony Radziwill died.

With the help of interior decorator John Bossard the two-bedroom duplex received a complete makeover. They replaced the existing gold-and-brown palette in the living room with more soothing tones of silvers and blues. For a more dramatic touch they paired the silver and blue tones with black furniture and accents throughout providing Carole with the perfect balance between glam and girly. There are the usual glamorous touches such as mirror, crystal chandelier, suede upholstered walls and one of the most glamorous spaces in the duplex, the dressing room.
The sofa above once belonged to Carole’s mother-in-law Lee Radziwill. Seen here in new upholstery.
The inspiration behind the banquette was the popular nightclub Bungalow 8.
“She is not trying to be anything that she’s not—that’s the approach she has to life, to her home,” says Bossard.
The second bedroom was converted into a dressing room. That’s all a single girl needs in the City, right..?
