It’s sandals season. All types, from high heels to flats, from gladiators to espadrilles to mules they are all more of a necessity during the hot days. Sandals are the favorite footwear for summer weather for very valid reasons. Who wouldn’t want a bit of foot skin exposed when it’s in the 90’s out? There is a sandal style to satisfy everyone. The unusual skinny heel that appears to be sliding back, the girlish with a beaded cross strap design and round heel for the days we require the more dressy footwear. The best about these sandals is that they look expensive while they are actually very affordable.
My favorite season is summer. I enjoy waking up in the morning and overhear the mowing of the lawns, albeit in the far background, the sound of the sprinklers watering the gardens. Wild turns beautiful in the form of wildflower fields that when driving by make me smile and wish I lived in a place where it was always summer. Yesterday I took my son to the zoo, and we were able to experience a handful of different experiences where we fed the giraffes, got sunburned one minute only to be showered by the unexpected torrential rain. Summer season is exceptional. Here is to an eternal summer attitude.

With the Fourth of July celebrations next week, there are a lot of stores offering lots of good sales. There is always a good reason or Holiday for sales to pop up everywhere. Of course, this is not a complaint but a praise. Here are my picks from this week’s deal.
