We are planning a trip to the south this summer, and one of the cities we are visiting is Palm Beach, Florida along with Savanna, and Charleston. I can’t wait for those needed relaxing days to come. After what feels like one of the longest winters and a stormy Spring, I’m ready for sand and sun. This vacation home located in Palm Beach is not where we’ll be staying, unfortunately, but since I love Palm Beach architecture so much and more so homes that are layered with fine details and personality, here is a tour of this charming vacation home to inspire.
Traditional blue and white stripe fabrics mixed with warm wood tones create an elegant summer vibe to this summer retreat. An Abaca rug anchors the room together.
In the dining room, a blue and white striped rug mixes effortlessly with floral wallpaper.
A classic white kitchen takes a clean approach, different from the rest of the colorful home.
Why not enhance the stairs? A place that is usually left untouched. In this Palm Beach retreat, the stair hall has a tropical motif painted by an artist and graphic tiles on the step risers.
The bar with dark blue walls and wicker stools.
A soothing bathroom with flamingo patterned wallpaper, antique chair, and traditional mosaic floors.
A pergola connects a guest room to the pool. A pergola with a fireplace is an outdoor space ideal for day and late evening entertaining by the fire.
Don’t you love a charming entrance? Love the exterior shutters.
I posted this soothing sunroom where pastel colors and interior trellis nod to the tropical setting.
