Most Corporate Americans are forced to work from home in an effort to halt this crazy virus. If you are in this position, and your work requires a video conference then you must look the part. To assist, I have put together a list of items that you can use to look professional even if it’s from the waist up. Working from home can be stressful especially when we don’t know how long we may be confined in our homes.

Whether you are used to working from home, as many of us in the creative field are or not, creating an environment that makes us feel good and inspiring should be number one. Further down I’ll be linking to articles that can guide us on how to do just that. On the other hand, my heart goes out to all the service industry workers who are out of work now with no hope of compensation. We never wear outdoor shoes inside the house because outdoor shoes can bring a lot of unwanted junk, bacteria, and virus inside. From left to right top, Greece sandals, platform slides, black/tortoiseshell sandals, off white sandals.

We are in this together and the first step we should do is to take care of those with less resources. Due to school closings, there are many children who are now left without a daily meal. It’s unbelievable that these conditions exist in the US, but they do. The World Central Kitchen’s (WCK) #ChefForAmerica has a wonderful effort to deliver food to those cities that are more vulnerable. Beginning Tuesday, March 17, in partnership with Bronx Assemblymember Michael Blake of the 79th District, WCK will distribute thousands of fresh, individually packaged grab-and-go meals to local families. World Central Kitchen is distributing meals in the Bronx and Queens. You can click here for more information on pick up locations and times. The Clinton Foundation has also partnered with WCK to feed children in need in Arkansas. Beginning Monday the effort will expand to Los Angeles.
