Category: Special Deals Of The Week

I feel the days are really flying by.  This weekend, for instance, went by between biking along the bike paths and grilling for Father’s Day.  We enjoyed it and had a great time, but I can use more hours to include some extra indulgement in the mix.  For example, I could always squeeze in hours for sourcing and be visiting new stores, either that ends with buying or not, it’s irrelevant.  Since there is never enough time for me to do that, I’m glad there is always the internet to peruse all I want without leaving the comfort of my home.  This weekend, while looking for a cocktail table for a client, I came across these fabulous pieces, all on sale and all beautiful and chic.  Happy Shopping!

Side table,  ottoman,  ginger jar,  coffee table,  short stool,  vintage tennis photograph.

Last week we had a great time in New York City spending time with family and friends.  I got to visit Kips Bay Decorators Showhouse and loved seeing all the well-decorated rooms.  As much as I enjoy spending time with my family in New York, it felt good to be back in our home ready to get back to our routine and start working.  Here in Dublin, Ohio, schools close and open about a month earlier than in the East Coast, so a lot of exciting summer camps are starting in a few days.

Every mother knows how convenient summer camps are, especially when all kids nowadays want to be on the Ipad.  In the meantime, regular posts are back to regular schedule, and I’m glad it starts right on a Monday’s Special Deals of the Week post.  Today is all about summer style furniture on sale that is hard to resist.  If you are looking for a rustic cocktail table that is unique and chic or a bamboo style chair as well as other ideal summer accessories, we’ve got you covered.

Who got up at 4 AM to watch the Royal wedding on Saturday?  I initially planned to get up at 5 AM but a random call from an unknown number luckily woke me up at 4 AM, and I couldn’t go back to sleep.  I made coffee, tuned to BBC, and listened to interviews with presidents of the many charities endorsed by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex.  The wedding was as expected, a fairytale.  Meghan wore a very chic and modern wedding dress designed by British designer Clare Waight Keller for Givenchy.  The house’s first female artistic director.  I wonder if the Duchess of Sussex chose Clare as a nod to her advocacy for women’s equality.

“The Duchess and Ms. Waight Keller worked closely together on the design, epitomizing a timeless, minimal elegance referencing the codes of the iconic House of Givenchy.” @KesingtonRoyal.  The bride’s bouquet contained Princess Diana’s favorite flowers along with stems hand-picked by Harry from their private garden at Kensington Palace.  How sweet is that?  I loved the bride’s mom, how sweet and humble she looked.  You could see how emotional she was.  She was living the dream of many mothers around the world.

Today’s special deals of the week have an English accent for obvious reasons.
