A small postcard from Cartagena de Indias To wish you all a very Merry Christmas. Here is hopimg for a great time among family and friends.
Amid the hustle and bustle of preparation for Christmas dinner. The heat inside the kitchen, the Christmas decoration of the table, the last minute rushing trip to the Super Market. Thank God there is also the Christmas music, the wine, the conversations and the people we love around us to make up for the stress that every festive anticipation brings. Oh, the preludes to be merry… One may be tempted to get lazy or exhausted and forget planning what to wear. For that reason I’ve rounded up a very affordable and cool selection of party dresses for you to beam that night because you deserve it. Also a good source of inspirations of Christmas in Europe.
There is no way that one Christmas will pass by without our traditional Christmas in Europe post. For the third year in a row this has become a tradition which is in the end what Christmas is all about; Tradition among unity, hope, happiness, and joy. I hope you are enjoying your preparations and excitement this season brings in the meantime get inspired by these images of an enchanted European Christmas.
Is it just me, or is there something amazingly and overwhelmingly happy in the Christmas spirit? We just came back from our son’s School Christmas presentation, and it was nothing short of watching angels singing Christmas carols. As a designer, I can appreciate the importance of the visual, but when it comes to Christmas, I think that what you listen to is as equal if not more important than what you look at. Christmas kettles on the streets of New York city, 106.7 repertoires of Christmas songs all day long while watching the snow coming down, the sound of chestnuts roasting on the fire, all those experiences would not evoke the same sentiment within us if there were silence. There is no music in this post, but there are a bunch of beautiful Christmas decoration images for those of you who are still in the process of decorating and seeking inspiration for your Holiday decor. Enjoy!
And here we go again with a good dose of decor for the most beautiful time of the year. I personally prefer a more colorful version of Christmas decor but I have to admit that all these images here are pretty alluring and inspiring. This year we are not doing any decorating for the season, unfortunately. Evidence that not because you love it does it mean you got to have it. In our case and on my defense we are going to be traveling for the Holiday. I only hope the Hotels would treat us with some really good decorations. I look forward to seeing them. And for now here a selection of White Christmas decor.
This year while also spending Thanksgiving away from family and home we’re planing to do something different and fun and head out for dinner at a restaurant instead of traditionally staying at home. Just the three of us and the spirit of Thanksgiving, of course. We’ll be missing out the turkey, graving, pumpkin pie and so on but we’ll make sure that a few thanks are given over whatever meal we’ll be sharing. Weather you are with family or overseas, Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
