Whenever we stop by the Hotel room to freshen up I try to catch up with New York Fashion Week. One thing I’ve been loving is the sober fall colors in the layered outfits, especially the colorful leathers. Enjoy!
If you haven’t been to Buenos Aires yet, you haven’t seen Europe in South America. We spent this past Christmas in Buenos Aires and we loved it so much that we’re here again with family and friends with us. We are going to spend a week between Buenos Aires and Mendoza, Argentina’s wine region. I’ve been meaning to make a decent post about our previous trip to Buenos Aires but have been caught up with other posts. It’s the second day of Fashion Week in NYC and I hope the crazy storm coming that way doesn’t screw things up. I’m really looking forward to watching the Fashionistas rocking the streets of New York City. It’s amazing! I find watching the street style more fun than the actual Fashion shows. So far I’ve liked what I’ve seen on the runways, lots of color blocking and graphics and layers. I have a thing for over sized clothing, color blocking and unstructured cuts so I loved Creatures of the Wind collection for all of the above.

A statement necklace is not enough anymore! Now it’s time for the statement fever to climb up onto our ears and stick on like a frog, literally. Ear Cuffs are the “it” accessory for Spring 2013! In Spanish “Cropped Pants”, they fall above the ankles, are called Puddle Skipping. Funny name ha? The pants themselves are also pretty funny-looking. One of the best qualities of cropped pants is how young and fresh they look compared to regular long pants and how much slimmer they can help us look especially when worn as a one-color suit.
I’ve been having so much fun organizing my home, we just got our furniture after 4 long months of waiting for the shipment, and since I love fashion so much I’ve been baptizing each room with a fashion designer’s name.
