My Husband’s Birthday and London Flowers

It’s impossible to not feel our heavy hearts after such a tragedy. This time it happened in Manchester, England at Ariana Grande’s concert. Parents, family members and friends are suffering the loss of loved ones for absolutely no reason what so ever other
than crazy minded people, who also happen to be big time losers… I agree on that one. Sometimes the best way to escape mentally from the chaos is by getting inspired by dreamy scenarios like the Chelsea Flower Show that is currently happening in London.

On another note, today also happens to be my husband’s birthday which is an occasion to celebrate in the middle of disturbance, some level of happiness and hope. Happy Birthday to my husband, the best man I could’ve ever asked for. I love you to the moon and back.

First the collection is the store’s first complete environmentally sustainable line. The entire ethical collection has been made with environmentally friendly organic and recycled cotton, recycled polyester and Tencel, which have been dyed with environmentally friendly inks. Second, all outfits are full of 2017 trends for Spring and Summer; clean lines, big structured sleeves blouses and minimalist dresses which all come in earthy tones. From the 45 pieces, 20 are for men. Yes, sometimes we all win.

Pink is the color most often associated with love, beauty, charm, politeness, sensitivity,
tenderness, sweetness, childhood, and the romantic.-Wikipedia. A.K.A Femininity. Others describe it as having the elements of compassion, nurture and love. All qualities associated with mother love. Put more red in it and it takes a more passionate connotation. I’m a big fan of neutral decors, you know the kind that you need when you have a family with mostly men in it. Nevertheless, every time I look at a bouquet of pink peonies or neoclassical building painted in pink, I can’t help but have a soothing happy feeling. Coincidentally Pantone’s 2016 Color of the Year is Rose Quartz and Serenity, a softer pink combined with Serenity. Enjoy

Best of New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2016

While more and more people are showing themselves naked in Instagram, it is a relief and source of inspiration seeing the elegant femininity displayed in the runways of New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2016. It was a delight to see the delicate designs by
Zimmermann, Jill Stuart and Rodarte. A combination of laces, flowers, silk, embroidery were presented in the shapes of flowing dresses, skirt and tops. Enjoy!

Certain things are simply priceless, like when your six year old boy hand writes a note for your birthday and as an extra draws a few penguins because he knows his mami is a fan of penguins since she was a little girl.
