I feel the days are really flying by. This weekend, for instance, went by between biking along the bike paths and grilling for Father’s Day. We enjoyed it and had a great time, but I can use more hours to include some extra indulgement in the mix. For example, I could always squeeze in hours for sourcing and be visiting new stores, either that ends with buying or not, it’s irrelevant. Since there is never enough time for me to do that, I’m glad there is always the internet to peruse all I want without leaving the comfort of my home. Last week we had a great time in New York City spending time with family and friends. I got to visit Kips Bay Decorators Showhouse and loved seeing all the well-decorated rooms. As much as I enjoy spending time with my family in New York, it felt good to be back in our home ready to get back to our routine and start working. Here in Dublin, Ohio, schools close and open about a month earlier than in the East Coast, so a lot of exciting summer camps are starting in a few days.

After having a couple of days with temperatures over 70’s, I got so excited that on Saturday I might have overreacted and cleaned out my closet and put most of my cold weather clothes away. Today, however, the temperature is back in to the 40’s but I’m determined to embrace Spring… although I may go back and retrieve a few sweaters, you know…? I’ll say next time I’ll start welcoming Spring through the exterior of the house. These fabulous summer wreaths are one way of doing that.
