Warren Platner chairs by Knoll in the living room designed by Pamplemousse Design.
I was more than exited to see the chic work of Dalphine
Krakoff founder of Pamplemousse Design inc. in this moth issue of AD.
Delphine Krakoff does chic like no other and in case you were wondering how she
does it: she was born and raised in Paris and has worked for luxury houses such
as Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, Coach and Ralph Lauren.
Pleasurable enough experiences that grant her a natural French flair that comes
across in her amazing interior design projects.  Take a look for yourself.
Enjoy!
The striped bathroom is covered in Bisazza tile

Now this is a screen room that looks so comfortable and huge that it could perfectly be converted into a guest room for multiple guests or better for sleep overs.

Love the spacious bathroom and the floor to ceiling windows

The elevator is upholstered in clad in calfskin.

natural looking pool design
Can you believe this swimming pool above?  Talk about a privileged life!  I
found the idyllic image on Pinterest and I don’t have any credit whatsoever, besides
the link to the page where I found it.  I don’t even know if this is a
regular swimming pool, if it was carved out, if the whole thing is fake or if
it’s instead a natural mineral pool.
One of my dreams is to owned a home with swimming pool where guests can take a dip in hot summer days.  Something like the image below with a background as impressive and dreamy as the South of France is perfectly ideal.  Cypress trees have always have my name on them, all over.  Enjoy!

rustic kitchen design

A masculine aesthetic is perhaps one that appeals to a much broader audience
than a more feminine one especially if it’s combined with industrial
touches.  As a matter of fact many women, me included, prefer to keep away
from the very feminine design, particularly from those with overdoses of fru-fru;
aka. looking like a doll house.  Luckily there is the Unisex Kitchen style with prefer light and clear spaces.  Chunky wood, metal,
concrete, stainless steel, oxidized finishing on either wood or metal are only
a few of the many options to keep in mind when going for a unisex neutral
kitchen.  Enjoy!

Jenni Kayne home in California designed in white and wood tones

As much as I love wall embellishments, from simple wall paint to intrinsic boiseries, I understand that when applied to modern spaces the result could be as fake as a toupe.  Nothing more inspirational than an architecture that is real and genuine like Jenni Kayne’s home.  Her home in Beverly Hills is modern and simple but full of warmth and comfort thanks to the use of wood paneled ceilings and walls, and livable and comfortable furniture.  Enjoy!
