Whether you call it stylish, casual or chic, the best definition for Chambray style is Classic. It’s one fashion style that never goes out of style, and it goes well with almost every piece of clothing you prefer to pair it with. I love it how Alexa Chung wears her chambray shirt with a sequined mini skirt in the lower picture. Another way of wearing a Chambray shirt these days is with more denim, Denim on denim is one of the latest trends in jeans right now.

Socks with Sandals Invade the Street Style

Don’t sleep on the thought that wearing socks and sandals is only for the preschooler crowd or you may wake up with identity crisis when you hit the streets and see grown up and very stylish women wearing socks with her high heeled sandals. It’s been a while that this has beeen happening now and there are actually even official terms for the trend, depending on the kind of shoes you are wearing, for pointed stilettos they call it “Socks and Spikes” for the open sandals version is well, just “Socks and Sandals”. I like it for many reasons, one because it gives you the chance to wear your sandals even if the weather is not so cooperative and second because sometimes I’m just too lazy to go for a pedicure. Currently all you see in street style fashion is the use of over the knee socks. It’s a current trend that I remember using while going to High School but somehow it always comes back during unpredictable weather like Spring and Fall. I guess it’s because it’s a clothing accessory that can be styled in many different ways. It also helps to keep warm during cooler days. Chic 9 Bags under 500

You may have noticed how bigger size bags have taken the back seat in the fashion world lately. The current trend in bags is a smaller, slicker bag that has a night time appearance although it’s used during the day as well. I’m coveting all bags designed by Delvaux lately, mainly the Madame mini which is extremely similar to the Sophie Hulme mini envelope bag. Sophi’s is a lot more affordable. Therefore I most likely will end up with the affordable one. Enjoy!

Olivia Palermo Latest Edgier Style

Olivia Palermo style has been for most very conservative and feminine, always wearing easy to emulate down-to-earth fashion pieces that many can easily relate. Tailored skirts and suits, pull-overs and skinny jeans and feminine soft dresses are only a few of her closet staples. Olivia has stayed away from stand-out and bold fashion choices while still managing to be a bit edgier lately. As in the pictures below Olivia’s street style during the latest Fashion Weeks was a bit more modern but still very lady-like. No wonder Olivia Palermo is a style icon for many girls.

H&M Limited Edition Eco-Friendly Colleciton Spring 2014

H&M limited edition conscious collection

I may want each and every one of the couture-looking peaces in H&M’s Conscious Collection which will be available on April 10. The limited edition collection is the third of the mega retail store. This terrific and beautiful line is in collaboration with Ever Manifesto a sustainability think tank and publication founded by Alexia Niedzielski, Charlotte Casiraghi & Elizabeth von Guttman. This collection is inspired by a very Spanish Bohemian fashion where a matador jacket and a pair of high heeled sandals are embellished with beautiful embroidery. The
fashion pieces are made of eco-friendly materials such as organic silk and leather. I think those black embroidery shorts have my name all over them. See below pictures of H&M lookbook modeled by Andreea Diaconu.
