Whenever we stop by the Hotel room to freshen up I try to catch up with New York Fashion Week.  One thing I’ve been loving is the sober fall colors in the layered outfits, especially the colorful leathers.  Enjoy!

It’s the second day of Fashion Week in NYC and I hope the crazy storm coming that way doesn’t screw things up.  I’m really looking forward to watching the Fashionistas rocking the streets of New York City.  It’s amazing! I find watching the street style more fun than the actual Fashion shows.  So far I’ve liked what I’ve seen on the runways, lots of color blocking and graphics and layers.  I have a thing for over sized clothing, color blocking and unstructured cuts so I loved Creatures of the Wind collection for all of the above.

Love the casual boyish look of the right outfit and the fur coat is stunning!  It would make me much more happy if I find out that is fake!  I haven’t seen much of street style photos but I found these ones at FabSugar of these fabulous ladies who are my Instagram followings

In Spanish “Cropped Pants”, they fall above the ankles, are called Puddle Skipping.  Funny name ha?  The pants themselves are also pretty funny-looking.  One of the best qualities of cropped pants is how young and fresh they look compared to regular long pants and how much slimmer they can help us look especially when worn as a one-color suit.
