I finally had a chance to visit The Hampton Designer Showhouse, presented by Traditional Home this weekend and I had a great tim. Many of you might have already visited it or seen pictures posted by our fellow bloggers, but for those of you who haven’t had the time to see this magnificent house in person and for those who are always looking for new inspiration, I will post some of my favorite rooms this week. One of my top favorites was the Master Sitting Room designed by Hamilton Design Associates. One of the smallest rooms in this show house, it is one of the prettiest one too. I loved the use of different patterns with contrasting colors. The size of the furniture was more than suitable for this cozy room where the modern photograph added a modern touch. This room looked like an inside heavenly garden with Suzu hoodless hand printed wallpaper.

Thanks for showing this beautiful room – being in that room seems akin to being inside a painting with such wonderful colors – green, pink, gold – the colors of a garden – green for a lawn, pink for a flower, gold for the sun and periwinkle blue –

This is one of the best rooms I have seen from the show house. Thank you so much . Love the colorways used in the room and the wallpaper is hand painted? Amazing.

Wow, amazing use of color & patterns. Not sure I'd have the guts to try this in my home, but I really like it 🙂

The floral pattered printed walls, the floral print curtains and the design printed carpet is kind of over the top design for me, I like the arrangements of the furniture, it’s very well thought.

The room is full of vibrant colors. I like how the designer played with the different colors on this room, very inventive.
