I refuse to make my home look like a pumpkin station in order to make it look more appropriate looking for Autumn. I love how the interiors in these images below give that understated feeling of warmth and nostalgia without screaming Autumn. It’s amazing how simple things such as exposed wood, touches of browns, leather furniture, a cashmere blanket or pillow could also bring the Fall vibe inside a home.

All beautiful photos! I love redecorating for fall and spring. They're so fun and of course, you don't have to use a pumpkin if you don't want to!!!

Proof that you don't need to display large squash to celebrate the current season.

Beautiful images, but I especially love the pillows in the second photo!!
Things That Inspire
Last fall, I remember hearing several architects and designers talk about 'seasonal rooms' – rooms in homes that are more likely to be used in the fall or winter, and rooms that are more likely to be used in the spring/summer. I gravitated to the rooms that were more fall winter – the colors, the more private quality, the fireplaces. This post reminded me of this idea – all of these rooms have that cozy quality!
