Lauren Conrad's Office

Lauren Conrad‘s eclectic and charming office was a result of a smart collaboration between Domain Home and Lauren herself.  The office is the HQ of Lauren’s fashion label Paper Crown.  The main goal was to make the office design to be functional with a mixture of vintage and modern pieces that would interpret the fashion line.  The result is a beautiful office space with brick exposed walls contrasting with black floor and white walls and shelving.   An oversized inspirational board, Persian rugs, Louis XIV settee and beautiful brass accessories throughout.

I love the predominated red in the office and the white frames on the walls.

I love to keep track of street style during Fashion Week, to see how fashion bloggers wear the latest fashion trends and get ideas on how to use them myself.  The fashion in the streets of London can be more conservative and more lady like, sometimes a bit stiffer, than in most fashion capitals although sometimes it can take a whole different route and be more artistic and free-spirited.  Luckily the weather during London Fashion week was way more forgiving than New York Fashion week so the outfits under the coats were more exposed.  This year the styles were more relaxed and comfortably-chic, ripped jeans, mid calf skirts, below the knee coats and fabulous accessories like cut out ankle boots and boy Chanel bags.  Exactly my cup of tea!

The collection of unique furniture in Machael Bruno ‘s home in Tuxedo Park, New York should not take any by surprise.  He is the founder of 1stdibs, the international online retail site for antique aficionados.  Michael Bruno ‘s new home seems to be on a picture perfect setting:  a Georgian home located in 11.3 acres with an impressive waterfront lake.  Michael’s keen eye for great properties comes from his earlier days as a real estate agent which I think only enhances his experience on antiques.  via WSJ Magazine

I’ve been keeping an eye on the New York Fashion Week Fall 2014 runways this past week where a very stylish and brave Fashion crowd confronted the cold, snow covered NYC streets and enjoyed the fun of Fashion week.  I love what most designers presented where the colors more present were black and grey.  Here are my favorites.
