Mother’s Day is this coming Sunday and I can’t wait to decorate our table for our traditional brunch. Even amidst the unimaginable situation, we are living in, there is the silver lining that families are together, enjoying each other more than ever before, spending time together perhaps without too much digital interruption. It’s self-assuring to know that in these moments of fear and anxiety, we have closeby the people we trust the most.
All these gorgeous table settings here, some have an understated look to them, and others a bit over the top, however, they all have in common a keen attention to detail. Ultimately, it’s not about how fancy our table settings look but who we are sharing our meal with. That’s not to say we shouldn’t go the extra mile to make sure that special occasion will be cherished. Get fresh flowers whenever possible. If you can’t get flowers, anything from fruits, vegetables or ornamental branches from a tree can make a difference on a tabletop decor.
