Open back clothes

The hottest summer month is yet to come, but we don’t need to melt away or look like we just came out of the sauna. We can all keep our coolness with a top or dress that bares our back. Isn’t just the thought of it refreshing? The beautiful thing about wearing a backless top or dress is that it takes some stress off our head, we don’t need a sculpted back to wear one because frankly most of the humans don’t have sculpted backs. The other benefit is how wearing a backless top provides the illusion of a narrower waist and what lady wouldn’t want that? No matter what kind of open back clothes you choose, tie-back, laced-up or just a V-back, they all have the same Summer-Day-to-Night transition ready.

best swimsuits of 2018

You know it’s summer when it’s hot… regardless of what the calendar says.  Summer started officially yesterday but it’s been feeling pretty hot in this town for over a week.  And I’m very happy about that… The arrival of summer entails long days spent at the beach for some and at the swimming pool for most.  I particularly prefere them in this order, the latter for use and the former for view.  Don’t get me wrong, I love a good resort by the beach and all that comes along with it; cocktails, grilled seafood and people watching.  Now when it comes to getting in the ocean and getting sticky sand all over my body, not so much.  So I prefer “Le Piscine” which allows me to enjoy the water, the cocktails, the grilled seafood and the people watching whithout the sand.  It’s time now to add one more swimsuit to our bathing suit inventory.  Read on for..

A roundup of T-shirt, Lo-Fi Shrunken Tee

What’s more accessible than a white t-shirt and a pair of jeans?  Practically nothing.  Although not the only way to wear a t-shirt, it comes close.  My other favorite is with a long skirt, ideally, my Helmut Lang kinetic jersey long wrap skirt made of micro modal, a very luxurious and silky smooth fabric.  It’s so soft and comfortable that I can easily sleep in it.  This American classic matches with every single color, and it can especially anchor a pair black denim, it can tone down the prints on a pair of short and/or can casually downplay a fancy skirt.

I prefer the ones with shorter sleeves and have to admit that when it comes to a shirt, I have it all its subdivisions from shirt dress to modern versions of the classic button-down shirt.

1st row from left to right.  A more relaxed version,  one with a pocket,  a classic type,

2nd row, this is not for all body types, but for a younger crew crop version, a little more dressy embroidered cotton shirt, cotton jersey shirt,
