The Game room was designed by Kwinter & Company. I loved this room because it was a more modern and relaxed approach from the regular game rooms. I love the Quadrille wallpaper too. I wish you a fun and happy weekend.

Many NYC residents would like their living spaces to be this big. I wanted to share this room designed by Hamptons Totes for HDS with you because isn’t it fun how they added those beach balls above the upper cabinets?

The master bedroom at Hampton Designer Showhouse was designed by Jennifer Garrigues with Diana El Daher. “Whenever I am traveling in the world my thoughts always wander back to the British Colonies” says Jennifer Garrigues. This was one of my favorite rooms, unfortunately these images do no credits to its perfectly accomplished representation of what a “sophisticated room in a British colonized exotic island” would look like. Dark wood floors, carved mahogany furniture, the use of color around the room and big leafy indoor plants are basic elements in British Colony design.

I finally had a chance to visit The Hampton Designer Showhouse, presented by Traditional Home this weekend and I had a great tim. Many of you might have already visited it or seen pictures posted by our fellow bloggers, but for those of you who haven’t had the time to see this magnificent house in person and for those who are always looking for new inspiration, I will post some of my favorite rooms this week. One of my top favorites was the Master Sitting Room designed by Hamilton Design Associates. One of the smallest rooms in this show house, it is one of the prettiest one too. I loved the use of different patterns with contrasting colors. The size of the furniture was more than suitable for this cozy room where the modern photograph added a modern touch. This room looked like an inside heavenly garden with Suzu hoodless hand printed wallpaper.

apologies for the last picture, my camera was acting up. Top picture from Hamilton Design Associates.
