safari outfit options

Ever since I can remember, going on a safari has been in my bucket list.  For some reason it feels like a far place to go.  While living in Munich we contemplated going to South Africa but even that felt a bit of a stretch when it comes to travel time.  It sounds funny when we used to regularly take over 13 hours flight while living in Brazil.  Whenever we decide to stop making up excuses, I would definitely take this awesome looking pants, pair them with this top and these green booties; would not forget my hat and a cross body bag.  For a more fashionable day I would opt for this modern-take-on-safari skirt, combined with this safari style jacket
and these comfortable but stylish booties.  I would carry everything in this Globe trotter suitcase and go here.  Bon voyage.

simone rocha living room

Simone Rocha‘s clothes are well known for their imaginative mixture of feminine, romantic and eclectic.  No wonder her home in London, which she shares with her partner and her toddler daughter, is a reflection of her clothing line.  The pink sofa is a nod to Simone’s love for flowers as well as the flower tapestry hanging in the bathroom.  I love the view to the garden out of her kitchen.

Aquazzura x De Gournay Collaboration

If this is not the most clever collaboration, then I don’t know what is.  Two of the things women love the most, anything that resembles flowers and shoes come together this spring in Aquazzura for De Gournay participation.  The announcement came in the middle of Paris Fashion Week with a celebration given at the coveted wallpaper showroom in Saint-Germain.  Edgardo Osorio had previously collaborated with De Gournay on a pink wallpaper inspired on the designer’s love of Ottoman history.  The wallpaper can be purchased as well as customized.  The exclusive shoe collection will be available through Matches Fashion sometime this May.

Paris

Saut Hermès: a night-time gallop at the Grand Palais

Wager won, Paris conquered. In seven years, the Saut Hermès at the
Grand Palais has become an unmissable sporting event, which brings the
international show-jumping elite together in the heart of the French
capital. The celebration has always been stunning and it will be so
again on the 17th, 18th and 19th March 2017.

Pad Paris+Art and Design

PAD, pioneering event for Art and Design aficionados and collectors, has
been reinventing for the past 20 years the Cabinet d’Amateur and the
notion of eclecticism, anticipating the esthetic aspirations of its
time. Season after season, it offers an intimate cocoon to those who
have made decorative arts and design the core of their collection,
driven by passion and heritage.  From March 22-26.

New York

You may have seen the very chic minimalist button-down white linen dress wore by a few bloggers in their Instagram accounts.  This dress as well as the rest of Mango’s 45-pieces of their Committed collection is worth a buy for two good reasons.  First the collection is the store’s first complete environmentally sustainable line.  The entire ethical collection has been made with environmentally friendly organic and recycled cotton, recycled polyester and Tencel, which have been dyed with environmentally friendly inks.  Second, all outfits are full of 2017 trends for Spring and Summer; clean lines, big structured sleeves blouses and minimalist dresses which all come in earthy tones.  From the 45 pieces, 20 are for men.  Yes, sometimes we all win.
