Aquazzura x De Gournay Collaboration
If this is not the most clever collaboration, then I don’t know what is. Two of the things women love the most, anything that resembles flowers and shoes come together this spring in Aquazzura for De Gournay participation. The announcement came in the middle of Paris Fashion Week with a celebration given at the coveted wallpaper showroom in Saint-Germain. Edgardo Osorio had previously collaborated with De Gournay on a pink wallpaper inspired on the designer’s love of Ottoman history. The wallpaper can be purchased as well as customized. The exclusive shoe collection will be available through Matches Fashion sometime this May.
Dian von Furstenberg Wrap Dress Gets Rivived by Jonathan Saunders
After taking the position of Chief Creative Officer at Dian von Furstenberg last year, Jonathan Saunders is putting his love for color and pattern on the iconic wrap dress this Spring. According to Vogue the dress has been reinvented by turning the volume of graphic and floral patters in intense hue. All in homage to what the label has always symbolized, but
with a few modern changes, such as slightly camouflaging the diagonal closure by the use of color blocking.
