I swear to you that our neighbors across from us are the chicest neighbors I could ever ask for. This couple is in their 70’s, besides having a landscape company which maintains their grounds, they attend their beautiful garden regularly by themselves. The thing I truly enjoy the most about it is the fact that she wears a red swimsuit and a straw hat while cutting roses and trimming boxes. I can’t stop watching them. Yes, they probably think I’m a freak.

I didn’t think I was going to be so enchanted by beautiful gardens. I have always been a lover of nature and always have the belief that there is nothing more beautiful than nature. Of course, there is outstanding man-made architecture, but as beautiful as they can be, they would look rather dilapidated without the proper landscaping. It is my hope that all these beautiful images can provide you with much-needed inspiration as well as a confirmation that life is beautiful and soon we’ll be back to our normal life.

Caroline Gidiere's Alabama Home Veranda facade

Caroline Gidiere‘s Alabama home must have appeared in everyone’s Instagram feed by now. The interior of the home was the first ere design job of Caroline and it proves that taste when combined with good proportions and good planning always work. Originally Gidiere was looking to renovate an old house but the circumstances of the previous old home weren’t salvable so she collaborated on a new construction with Architect James F. Carter. The Interior design was inspired by Caroline’s favorite designers, Miles Redd, Daniel Romualdez, David Netto, Frances Elkins, and Renzo Mongiardino.

The brick Georgian home located in Birmingham, Alabama was inspired by George Wythe house in Colonial Williamsburg “I wanted to do a riff on the George Wythe house,” Caroline told Veranda. The house is relatively new, it was built less than a decade but the feel of it is as if it’s been there for much longer than that. You read the entire article at Veranda.

Jean Louis Deniot's LA home, 1930's architecture

Jean Louis Deniot’s Los Angeles home is nestled in the hills above Sunset Boulevard, and it’s a 1930’s fairy-tale.  “When the weather is nasty in Paris I jump on a plane and come to beautiful La La Land,” he told AD.  It took Deniot two years to complete the renovation of the over 2,000-square-foot home. The charming house has Tudor style exteriors, and Spanish-style interiors, many homes in L.A. share a Spanish-style interior architecture.  Jean Louis is known for his dramatic while livable interiors, but for his Los Angeles home, he kept things more on the relaxing side.
