Beatriz Silveira via belle vivir

Interior Designer Beatriz Silveira designed this beautiful feminine office for a magazine editor.  Something it would be almost easy to guess based on the very stylistic and sophisticated design of the work space.  Beatriz used simple yet refined navy blue sofas combined with white walls and golden touches throughout the feminine space.  The very ornate crown moldings on the painted ceiling is the star of the entire office and I love the fact that brings in the exact amount of rustic touch which helps break away the office from being too girly.

 Estefania Carrero design dining room

If you don’t know Interior Designer Estefania Carrero today is your lucky day.   Her design is very Madrileño, by that I mean that it’s modern, crisp, young and nothing cold.  In other words it is very chic.  I first saw her beautiful work at Nuevo Estilo, one of Spain’s most popular Interior Design Magazines where you can find a magnificent amount of decor inspirations and ideas for your home.  Enjoy!

French interiors are not that easy to stamp.  They do share common threads though that only stress further this fact.  Emphasis on personal style, highly refined finishes and details, and a disengagement from decorating rules in general.  The main focus is on the architecture and its preservation.  That’s why we don’t get to see two French homes that are identical, even when designed by the same Interior Designer.  Something that’s highly admirable.  The designer Sarah Lavoine designed this apartment with a perfect French flair.  Enjoy!

I have many places I want to go to, like many but, Capri in Italy is by far on the top of my list. At this point it has moved up to be the tittle of my list, really! I have the thought of me walking down one of its many hilly stoned walkways down to the beach with the air blowing my hair while my feet warm up at the touch of the hot ground. I may even fall down trying to take in the amazing view.  Jean Louis Deniot at home in Capri.

Now, this breath taking beach home in Capri designed by the one and only Jean-Louis Deniot makes my wishes go one step further and of all of a sudden I start thinking how about a vacation home there, even if it’s in a million year?  One can dream! Had I not read that Jean-Louis Deniot designed this home I would’ve thought that it was created by nature itself, especially the outside.  Enjoy!

The team behind Plattdana Architects, a New York City-based architectural firm is about to change your mind!  That is if you think that modern design is not capable of being classic and cozy at the same time.  Hope Dana and Kate Platt are the principal architects of the firm and their main goal is to achieve homes with a classic and modern mix.  This duplex located in the Flat Iron neighborhood of New York City was remodeled and designed by Plattdana Architects, where everything from the herringbone floors to the seagrass wallpaper covering the walls in the library are only a few of their brilliant touches to accomplish a cozy and warm modern home.  Enjoy!
