According to him the furnishing and decor should be a reflection of the wealth and power of the monarchy, hence the golden and flamboyant pieces of his period. Windsor: A Luxury Residential Club At Vero Beach: CSOW

I feel like I’m cheating by posting about Windsor, a luxury residential club in Vero Beach, Florida as a commercial space of the week. For many reasons, first because although it offers many commercial spaces, it’s also a community. Windsor is a village by the sea in Vero Beach, Florida where every detail was perfectly planned and designed to give their residents the ultimate luxury living experience. Every one of their amenities is set in perfect-looking settings.

The private residential club offers a full-scale Equestrian Centre consisting of 18 stables and 14 paddocks with 4.6 miles of riding trails surrounding the community, a 400-yard-long polo field, the tennis courts designed by Wimbledon champion Stan Smith are lined with jasmine, a championship golf course and much more. Windsor was founded in 1989 by Canadian businessman W. Galen Weston and his philanthropist wife, Hilary Weston, the former lieutenant governor of Ontario. The now luxury residential community started as a private summer residence for the Weston family, later they enlisted Andrés Duany and Elizabeth Plater-Zyberk to design the New Urbanism style of living.

For me, while rust is a color that many may find it difficult to pair with, I think it can be matched with any color, from black to green.

5 Books To Read When A Loved One Is Passing

Losing a loved one is soul crushing. We recently lost my mother-in-law to cancer. Her funeral was last Tuesday, and even when we were expecting it, it’s excruciating when it happens. When she was put under hospice care at her home about three months ago, I purchased a couple of books about near-death experiences to find some spiritual comfort. I have always been fascinated by spiritual subjects and have read these types of books since I was a teenager, maybe as an attempt to find answers to something that is so mysterious.

Many, if not all, of the NDE books I’ve read, share many similarities and all point to the source of light and joy and how our souls eventually become one with it. Many who have experienced it say they didn’t want to leave that perfect peaceful state, but they had to return because their time on earth wasn’t complete. The stories are compelling, hopeful and give certainty of life after death and not any life, but one full of joy and light. A perfect state that most of these individuals can’t find the right human words to describe. Yes, You Can Wear White In Winter

Fashion has been revolutionized ever since the first “important person” dared to say, in public that it’s absolutely ok to wear white in winter. So after that, it’s ok to wear white in the winter. It never occurred to anyone that after all, snow is white and only happens in winter. As a matter of fact, right now everywhere I look at is covered with white snow. Don’t take me wrong I don’t necessarily approve white summer-looking dresses for the winter. Maybe this latter has to do with the fact that I’m always cold and can’t conceive the idea.
