They are forecasting cold temperatures with snow for this weekend, so it’s time to be creative to stay warm. If you do it right, you may even be able to get away with sweaters and ditch the coat, as in the first picture below. The secret of layering clothes well is to start with thermals for the first layer, keep the first and second layer tight enough and keep adding more loose pieces as cardigans. Finish off the layered attire with big scarves, jackets or coats.
Casually comfort with a functional layer of sweaters, warm pants, boots, and an oversized scarf.
I like the idea of an oversized coat over a blazer or jacket. It makes more sense than wearing a coat overcoat. It’s also lighter.
For a perfectly stylish outfit for freezing temperatures, choose a turtleneck, a tailored blazer, and an oversized coat. Don’t forget your gloves.
You can also show a bit of skin if you wish, just add over the knee boots and a long coat.
