It’s been a long time coming and our Julie & Ev signature linen collection is finally available. Our hand block tablecloths, placemats, and napkins are printed on 100% cotton by artisans in Jaipur, India. With three different design styles that range from blue and white to pink and neutrals, Julie & Ev hand block print linen collection is sure to delight everyone around the table.

At the table is when we pass our values to our children, share with them our most valuable advice, and celebrate our joyous moments. This linen collection was made to celebrate amongst our loved ones and friends. Whether it is a promptus Sunday brunch, a formal dinner, or a solo dine-in at home, the designs of this Julie & Ev new linen collection is an appreciation of good life.

Zara Fall/Winter 2019 Is Refined, Classic And Wow

I may be going to Paris soon with a couple of lovely girlfriends and I’m so happy that’s the case because just about a week ago I was perusing a few fashion websites and came across these images shot by Steven Meisel for Zara 2019 Fall Winter Campaign and I was instantly sold. The correlation here is that I’ll be snatching a few of these pieces to take with me to the trip and look expensive and fabulous for a lot less. As I say all the time, not everyone can wear Prada but we all can wear Zara.

Unfortunately I couldn’t find when some of these pieces will be available for purchase, but there are other beautiful Fall fashion pieces already available on their website. See a few of my favorites at the end of this post.

As much as I don’t guide my design choices by trends, it’s important to stay abreast of them. Especially, kitchen trends, because we all know that kitchens are the center of the home. That’s where we go in the morning to have our coffee, to prep our kids’ breakfast and on occasions to cook for friends. The best about this 2019 kitchen trend is that it’s a classic revival, yes you read that right. These are the kinds of trends I like, those that won’t feel outdated in a few years. Afterall every design choice we put into our kitchen is an investment, and they can’t be taken lightly.

Erika is an expert in style; she was SVP of Global Communications for Oscar de la Renta LLC, a position she held for seven years. Bearman honed her fashion, style, and grace under the company of her one-time boss and beautiful friend, Mr. Oscar de la Renta. Currently, according to her Instagram bio, Erika has three main passions, 𝒷𝓁𝒶𝒸𝓀 𝓈𝓌𝒶𝓃. 𝑒𝓁𝑒𝒸𝓉𝓇𝒶. 𝒷𝓇𝒶𝓃𝒹 𝒶𝒹𝓋𝒾𝓈𝑜𝓇. Electra is her beautiful daughter. Beaverbrook Hotel: A English Hotel That Feels Like Home

Beaverbrook Hotel in the Surrey Hills was recently designed by Susie Atkinson. She is the designer behind the fabulous interiors of the Soho House group, and she has really raised the bar for hotels all over the world. Beaverbrook hotel, named after a close friend of Winston Churchill, is located in a late-nineteenth-century mansion in the Surrey Hills. Lord Beaverbrook apparently threw many wild parties, and each room is now named after one of those guests. There is a Churchill suite as well. Susie’s goal was to design something essentially British and romantic. ‘I knew it had to be gentle, floral, and quirky with a touch of madness,’ H&G.

Trending Now: Abaca Rugs

If you haven’t gotten caught up with the increasing trend of abaca rugs, then today you will. Ideal for coastal design, we can see this natural-fiber rug in urban homes as well as in country homes nowadays. Abaca also called Musa, or Manila Hemp comes from an inedible banana plant that grows in the Philippines. The very versatile plant can be used for everything from plates to paper to roofing. The fibers of this plant are super durable and strong, making them thicker, but also softer than sisal, making them super cozy and elegant as well.
